In addition to his broader advisory practice, Josh leads the Student Housing and Greek Housing Groups at Coldwell Banker Commercial Devonshire Realty. Within the University of Illinois ecosystem, he has developed a premier niche serving fraternities, sororities, and student housing developers with a deep understanding of their unique operational and investment needs.
Prior to his career in real estate, Josh served honorably as a Green Beret in the U.S. Army Special Forces, deploying to Afghanistan and South Asia in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He continues his commitment to service as the Co-Founder of CAMPMACKALL, a non-profit connecting post-9/11 Veterans at the University of Illinois with mentorship and career opportunities.
Josh graduated magna cum laude from the Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in Finance and a certificate in Real Estate. Drawn to challenges that reward preparation and sound judgement, he gravitates toward experiences beyond the obvious—often outdoors, in motion, and off the beaten path—while staying grounded in an active life with his wife, son, and their Australian Cattle Dog.
