Blake began his commercial real estate career in early 2012 as an intern in Springfield and Champaign. He obtained his Broker’s license upon graduating with his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2013.

Blake lives in Springfield, IL, and services the Greater Springfield area.  He achieved the prestigious Certified Commercial Investor Member (CCIM) designation through the CCIM Institute in 2025.  Further, he achieved the Circle of Distinction in 2021-2025 (3x Silver Level, 2x Bronze Level) which recognized top-producing commercial brokers among all CBC affiliates.  He represents clients in Retail, Office, Industrial/Warehouse, Restaurant, Multi-Family, Self-Storage, Special Purpose, Hospitality, and Land Acquisition sale and lease transactions.

He serves on several Boards and Committees, notably as the Past Chairman of the Commercial Real Estate Network (CREN) within the Capital Area REALTORS ® (2020-2022), President (2023-2025) of the M.E.R.C.Y. Communities Inc Board of Directors (2019-), President (2024-2025) of the Downtown Springfield Inc Board of Directors (2020-), and Food & Beverage Chair of the Springfield Old State Capitol Art Fair (2023-).  His professional memberships include CCIM (2025-), the Innovating Commerce Serving Communities (ICSC; 2016-), the National Association of REALTORS ® (2013-), and the Illinois Association of REALTORS ® (2013-).  His involvement extends to other philanthropic causes, including Rotary International, the Illinois Innocence Project and the Community Foundation for the Land of Lincoln.
